Luis Manzano has second thoughts about movie with Vilma Santos and John Lloyd Cruz

There’s been much buzz about Luis Manzano taking on a gay role in a Star Cinema movie that will also star his mom Vilma Santos and John Lloyd Cruz. In an interview with ABS-CBN.com, the Dyosa star revealed that he had previously turned down the part, but will be attending a second meeting to work out the kinks. “I said ‘no’ na to the movie with my mom and John Lloyd. But now there will be a meeting to see if I will still do it. Kung matuloy, pag-iisipan ko pa kung paano ko ipapasok sa schedule ko. A part of the film will be shot in New York kasi. I initially declined the whole idea of doing movie, but now titingnan pa kung ano ang mapaguusapan sa second meeting,” he said. Full Story

Valerie Concepcion says no to commitment for now

During the pictorial for the upcoming teleserye Pieta, Cherie revealed that her husband and two children Bianca,12 and Rafael, 10 are now in Israel while she is here in the Philippines with her eldest son Jay, 21. Without detailing the real reason for the break up, the actress said that she just had to accept what happened no matter how painful it was. “We’re both growing up as human beings. Miguel Mendoza clarifies ‘vote-buying’ rumor

Raw talent may make Miguel Mendoza deserving of his place as Third Star Dreamer of Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2. But rumors have been going around claiming that the 19 year old from Muntinlupa got through the competition only because his well-off family spent hard cash for text votes. During the grand press conference for the PDA Top 6 scholars, ABS-CBN.com quickly asked Miguel to clarify the issue. “If ever they did, wala naman sigurong masama. Any family would support (their child) as much as they can. I don’t think vote buying will be a valid issue,” Miguel justified.

Like a song that ended on a bad note, ex-scholars Miguel Mendoza and Bea Muñoz agreed to part ways following the finale of Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2. At the press conference of the PDA Top 6, third placer Miguel broke the news of his split with longtime girlfriend Bea. “Nakapag-usap na kami [ni Bea] noong PDA party. We’ve been in a relationship for a long time na on and off. We figured na it won’t do us any good if we continue. It would be better if we just go on with our careers. He was even a no-show at the PDA victory party last Tuesday, September 16. Ruben Gonzaga is all praises for Ejay Falcon and Bugoy Drilon

This year seems to be a great one for run-of-the-mill people with big dreams, maybe as far Pinoy Big Brother and Pinoy Dream Academy are concerned. “I’m leaving October 25, after that I’m coming back, then I’m leaving again. My album is done that’s why I’m leaving. First I’ll be going to France, then London, Belgium, Germany, then back to the States,” shared the 26-year-old singer-dancer. Billy is a well-known recording artist in Europe having released chart-topping singles in France, Germany, and Belgium, among others.
